Guidance for Reporting the Final Disposition of Extra Vessels

Timely reporting of accurate data related to the final disposition of extra vessels is very important to the transplant community for tracking the spread of infection or disease that may be transmitted from a donor. UNOS recommends that centers report these data at least monthly.

You can read the policy related to this issue on the OPTN website.

To help you comply with this important policy on the disposition of extra vessels, UNOS staff created two guidance documents.

OPOs should read this guide.
