My loving amazing brother, Matthew, sadly lost his fight due to a stroke at the young age of 30-years-old. It has broken our hearts so much but at the same has given us comfort that my brother made the ultimate sacrifice and helped save five lives including the life of a young 12-year-old boy. This act alone tells you the type of person my brother was.
Matthew had a heart of gold and would do anything to help. As sad and heartbroken as I am, I hope the recipients of my brother’s organs live a happy long life. I know through my brother’s organs he will continue to live on in other people.
