UNOS is transitioning to a new online store vendor and as a result, the store will be offline between July 2 – July 13.
Temporary Interruption of UNet Services on July 7, 2016
The UNOS Secure EnterpriseSM system, which includes UNetSM and other transplant applications such as WaitlistSM, DonorNet®, TIEDI® and KPDSM, will be unavailable, due to programming updates related to pediatric heart allocation policy on Thursday, July 7, 2016 – 7–8 a.m. (EDT).
System changes related to ABO verification policy change are now in place
Changes were implemented on June 23, 2016.
UNOS announces efforts to increase the number of transplants
At the White House Organ Summit this morning, United Network for Organ Sharing CEO Brian Shepard and Chief Medical Officer David Klassen, M.D. will announce new technology and data tools to increase the number of transplants done in the United States.
UNOS Researchers Present Studies at American Transplant Congress
UNOS staff members authored and will present numerous studies at the American Transplant Congress (ATC), held June 11-15 at the John B. Hynes Convention Center. UNOS staff members are primary authors of a total of 19 abstracts and are coauthors of an additional three abstracts.

At its meeting today, the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors placed University Hospitals of Cleveland, a transplant hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, on probation.
OPTN/UNOS Board releases two member institutions from probation
At its meeting today, the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors restored full member privileges for two member institutions: Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y., and Nebraska Organ Recovery System, the organ procurement organization serving the state of Nebraska.
