On June 11, we made a number of changes in the UNet Patient Safety Portal to make it easier for you to report more accurate and standardized descriptions of potential donor-derived disease transmission events (PDDTE). We added pulldown menus, updated disease lists, and made other changes to standardize reporting and will make it easier to analyze the entries. You will also be able to report multiple infections or malignancies more easily for one donor.
To access a job aid that explains the changes, log on to UNet and go to the Patient Safety home page. Select Help and Online Help.
