New data collection elements have been added to DonorNet® XML schema to capture information regarding donor COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) testing. OPO staff will now have the capability to import these new data collection elements via the Donor XML upload functionality in DonorNet.

United Network for Organ Sharing has been working with software integrators to deliver this functionality as soon as feasible. If you have specific questions about how/when your system(s) will be able to utilize these new elements in the donor upload, please contact your software integrator(s).
You should not see any breaking impact on any existing functionality built around the import of the donor record. If you do see errors, please check with your IT department or software integrators.
