In an effort to improve the UNetSM design and user experience, United Network for Organ Sharing is making improvements to the look and feel of the DonorNet application related to branding, color schemes, and workflows within the system.

Effective June 18, vascular composite allograft offers will first be made to compatible transplant candidates listed at VCA programs within a radius of 500 nautical miles of the donor.

United Network for Organ Sharing will soon begin piloting phase II of an offer filters project that will allow kidney transplant programs to bypass donor offers they do not want to receive through custom-designed, multi-criteria filters.

System notice: Reactivation of liver candidates to MELD or PELD score without entering new lab values

Effective May 6, 2020, a transplant program reactivating a liver transplant candidate to a MELD or PELD status in Waitlist is no longer required to input updated lab values to support the listing.
