At-a-glance statement

In response to an organ donation and transplantation community request for a report that provides insight on the rationale behind match screens for candidates, United Network for Organ Sharing created a candidate match screen report in WaitlistSM, which provides a summary of the reasons why certain candidates have been screened.

The report, titled Candidate Match Screen Report, will be accessible in the Reports section of Waitlist, under Match Related Reports. To access an individual report, enter a candidate’s Waitlist ID and an optional date range to the search field. The results will display the reason, or reasons, why the candidate has been screened from a match.

What you need to do

There is no required action. If a UNetSM user is interested in accessing the report, they can simply select the report titled Candidate Match Screen Report from under the Match Related Reports category in Waitlist’s Match Related Reports section, enter a specific Waitlist ID for one of their candidates, and generate the report. Insights from the report might lead a program to review and revise a candidate’s donor acceptance criteria.
