OPTN/UNOS Board approves policy to increase lung transplant access for children, establishes criteria for programs performing pediatric transplants
The OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors, at its meeting December 1 and 2, approved amendments to lung allocation policy to provide more opportunities for candidates younger than 18 years of age to receive transplants from donors who are also younger than 18.
