Hear about the many ways UNOS and the transplant community are collaborating to improve and transform the national transplant system. This session will identify insights leading to further innovations, the pilot-testing of concepts, and ideas with high impact potential to save lives.
Several initiatives and partnerships will be discussed, including:
- Travel App – Brian Shepard, UNOS Chief Executive Officer, shares details about the Travel App that could change the way the community searches for an organ in transit. Get a sneak peek of how it works, details of the tracking functionality, and plans for potential launch.
- Predictive Analytics – Brian Shepard, UNOS Chief Executive Officer, shares results from the Predictive Analytics Study that studied how these analytics could be used to support clinical decision making in organ transplantation.
- Dashboard and Tools – University of Utah’s Senior Director of the Transplant Service Line, Kim E. Phillips, and Quality Improvement Coordinator, Brandi Thompson, discuss the real world use of the travel app and predictive analytics tools and the value they are bringing to their program.
We welcome input and questions from the community as we work to drive innovation in the national transplant system. Please come, listen and ask questions.
