As programs are building new processes in response to the pandemic, they are assessing staffing models, staff and patient safety, workspace configuration, and a range of operational processes.

COVID-19 weekly RUM report
In response to the pandemic, a temporary version of the Recovery and Usage Maps tool, or RUM, has been developed. Accessible in the Visual Analytics section of the UNetSM data services portal, the report’s interactive Tableau dashboard provides OPOs and transplant programs the most current data available regarding organ recovery and transplant activity at OPOs and programs across the country for organs with specific characteristics. Reminders
Organ recovery teams are encouraged to be aware of state and local travel restrictions related to COVID-19
Teams travelling for organ recovery should check for potential issues with inter-state travel regulations such as recommended or required quarantine time frames.
Summer 2020 regional meetings to be virtual
The health and safety of our meeting attendees is our top priority. After reviewing all available information, we have decided to host all summer 2020 regional meetings virtually. Meetings begin in August. Information on each region’s agenda and links to meeting materials will be made available soon on the OPTN regional meeting page.
