Tell us about your background.
I have been a member of the transplant team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center since 1999 and I am responsible for all data, quality and financial operations. I’ve been very active in the national transplant community for many years, serving on committees, authoring articles and publications and am a frequent presenter and speaker at national conferences and meetings.
What will you be presenting about at TMF?
At TMF, I’ll be co-moderating a “Network and Learn” session on all things finance, which is a great opportunity to meet and share ideas with fellow financial professionals. Feel free to drop in to ask a question or share your best practices related to transplant finance.
I’ll also be leading a plenary session providing updates about the UNOS Payer Educational Collaborative, which is an initiative to bring together transplant administrators and payers to work on ideas and innovations that can help get lifesaving transplants to more patients. This group was developed from feedback shared during the 2023 TMF and strives to have programs and payers work together to decrease barriers to care and increase opportunities for transplant. This session is graciously sponsored by Humana.
