At a glance
Anyone at an organ procurement organization, or OPO, transplant hospital or histocompatibility lab who uses UNet must first be granted access by their security administrator. The new and improved security administration application is now available in UNet. UNet site administrators will need to use the new application to create UNet accounts and manage permissions for their staff.
New functionality
In the new application, UNet security administrators will be able to:
- Set a future inactivation date for a user in the system.
- Send requests to security administrators at other institutions to request permission for users.
- Complete the user audit with less burden on security administrators.
Training
Mandatory training is available in UNOS Connect from the system category of the course catalog, offering SYS150. Please ensure that you complete the training by Jan. 31, 2020.
