Match Summary view now available in DonorNet desktop

Implementation date

Jan. 25, 2023

At-a-glance

The Match Summary view is now available on DonorNet desktop. This summary provides information about a patient’s current rank on a match run and includes details about the numbers of patients and programs above them on the match. Within this view, users will see data on the following information:

  • Acceptances: Displays the sequence number for accepted organs anywhere on this match run and whether the acceptance is at your center or another.
  • Provisional yes: Displays the counts of Provisional Yes responses for patients on the match who are above your patient. The report displays both the count patients listed at your center and the count of other patients and centers.
  • No response: Displays the counts of patients on the match above your patient without an organ offer response. The report displays both the count patients listed at your center and the count of other patients and centers.

What you need to do

This summary view can be accessed by clicking the “View Match Summary Information” link within the match in DonorNet desktop and DonorNet MobileTM. This will display the sequence number on the match, the organ and current rank on the match. Current rank indicates where your patient currently is on the match, which may be different from their sequence number if other patients have refused the organ

Additional details

The Match Summary view has been available in DonorNet Mobile since 2021. As a request from the community, this view is now available on DonorNet Desktop. UNOS IT staff and the work group at the 2022 TMF Collaboration Event made this effort possible.

Want to collaborate with other professionals on features like this one? Attend the upcoming UNOS Collaboration Event at the 2023 Transplant Management Form (TMF). Registration for TMF will be opening soon, find more information here.
