There have been several staff changes at Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA), a non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) based in Dallas, TX.
Chad Ezzell has been promoted to vice president of clinical services where he will oversee STA’s organ and tissue recovery services. Prior to this appointment, Ezzell was the director of quality systems where he was responsible for ensuring that the quality program at STA achieved excellence and reflected continual quality improvement. Before joining STA in the fall of 2015, Ezzell was the vice president of clinical services at LifePoint (now known as We Are Sharing Hope), the OPO in Charleston, SC. Prior to that, he served as the director of clinical services at LifeChoice, the OPO based in Windsor, CT. Ezzell is a member of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations where he served as chair of the procurement council committee from 2012 – 2013.
