Impella 5.5 devices can now be reported in Waitlist and TIEDI

As of Aug 16, 2023, Impella 5.5 heart pump devices can be reported on:

• Adult Heart Status Justification forms in Waitlist^SM,
• Heart and Heart-Lung Transplant Candidate Registration (TCR) forms in TIEDI®, and
• Heart and Heart-Lung Transplant Recipient Registration (TRR) forms in TIEDI®.

On or after the implementation date, heart and heart-lung transplant programs may report any candidates on an Impella 5.5 in these applications as appropriate.
