I met my donor’s family eight months after transplant. I learned that Peggy loved nothing more than cooking for family gatherings and spending time with all of her grand kids. She was a very caring and selfless person. When her four grown sons were asked if they would donate her organs, I was told by Harold, the eldest son, that he asked the question, what would mom want? Yes, was the response by all. That was Peggy.
