Jodi was a 52-year-old mother of three who suffered a devastating brain injury which ultimately took her life. Many years before, Jodi decided to become an organ donor. As a result of this choice, as we were all sharing our sorrow, families were being told that because of her unselfish act, their loved ones would receive a life saving organ.
