My mother and father donated Jeff’s heart to a woman. My brother’s heart was flown from Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia SC to Pittsburgh in June of 1984. It was Gaston Memorial’s first heart donation ever performed. My mother received a letter from the doctor that stated the transplant was successful. We also donated his kidneys, and corneas. My brother was the most loving person to meet. He was 21-years-old when he died of a brain aneurysm. I would love to know how this woman and her family are doing. My thoughts and prayers are always with them. Love always.
