My son, Bryce, was 5-years-old when he needed a kidney transplant. My mom, Andrea, selflessly donated one of hers. Bryce went to kindergarten two weeks after transplant. This kidney has allowed him to live as normal of a life as he can. He is now 22-years-old! Andrea did well after giving her kidney and “would do it all over again”. Organ donors are heroes!
