This special tribute made in honor of:

Emily Marie Gonzales

National Donor Memorial Icon
Emily Marie Gonzales

Emily was a person who can bring a smile to anyone no matter how bad the situation anybody was in. When tragedy struck she was days shy of being 18 Leaving behind a baby who wasn’t even 1 yet. She was registered to finish school and become a hair and makeup artist. Sad that this has to be short because in her short time on earth with me I can write a book on how much joy she brought to my life. I was her Aunt, but my mom and I raised her. (My mom died in 07) and she kept me going in my time of sorrow, only for life to take her a few years later. She was my niece, daughter, crazy girl, and rock. I will miss you for as long as I live, but knowing you saved lives by deciding to donate, I can hold my head up high and say I’m the Aunt of a hero. Love you crazy girl til we meet again, in that better place that your in right now.
