Julie Nolan
Chief of Staff
Julie Nolan provides strategic counsel on UNOS’ priorities and ensures advancement of the CEO’s vision for the organization. Nolan previously served as vice president of external affairs, leading outreach to federal, state and local governments to advocate on behalf of patients and the organ donation and transplant community.
Nolan has extensive experience in government relations, having advocated for health care-related issues before Congress for nearly two decades. She has served in multiple roles in the U.S. House of Representatives, including as deputy chief of staff and legislative director for a member of the House Ways & Means Committee, and she worked as staff for the former chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Nolan earned a B.A. in political science from Denison University.
