Maddie was a big spirit with a servant’s heart. She was a competitive gymnast who volunteered with special needs kids and conservation organizations. Two days before her 18th birthday Maddie had a severe asthma attack at a concert and passed away three days later. Just prior to her asthma attack Maddie had a conversation with us about her decision to sign up to be an organ donor. Because of her courage to have that conversation our family knew what to do on that tragic day.
Maddie’s gifts (heart, liver and 2 kidneys plus tissue) were donated and we honor her courage and strength every minute of every day!
