Monette Rockymore, who serves as the manager of the rapid testing laboratory at VRL-Eurofins Laboratory, in partnership with Donor Network West, describes volunteering as a United Network for Organ Sharing ambassador as incredibly rewarding. “There are times when you learn about a case in which a patient donated their organs and ended up saving six lives,” she said. “Knowing that we are behind in the laboratory testing samples for those patients truly moves me as a person.”
