At-a-glance
The UNet user audit is now open and will close Tuesday, Feb. 28, close of business. All audits must be completed by site security administrators by this time. If not completed by the deadline, access to the system could be impacted.
As a part of this audit, please validate all third party users’ access in accordance with OPTN Policy 3.1.A. A third party User is defined as anyone who is not an employee of your organization, but who is authorized by contract or other agreement, to access UNet. As a site security administrator, you are accountable for the security of the system and access you are providing to users. It is your responsibility to remove any users from UNet for whom you cannot validate access as soon as possible.
Additionally, site security administrators are required to complete training in UNOS Connect to renew the acknowledgement of their roles and responsibilities. Members can access UNOS Connect via the Resources menu within UNet. You will receive an email invitation on Jan. 31 with details on how to access and complete the training. We recommend that you complete the training and sign the acknowledgements prior to starting the audit. If you did not receive an email about the training, please contact [email protected] or call 800-978-4334. The due date for this training is Feb. 28, close of business.
