Following a fatal motorcycle accident and 13 days treatment in the hospital, the most difficult decision to remove life support from our son BJ took place. This was only the beginning of the story that we thought was ending. At this time, a team of amazing professionals came in and granted our wish to have his viable organs gifted to someone who was in need of them.
Perhaps this is the moment for which he was created (Esther 4:14) – God must have needed him to save others, and he accepted this call.
We told him in the hospital that he would never become a “was,” because wases get forgotten, and for that reason and for the reason he continues to live:
You will Always Be My IS!!
