Gene had the biggest heart, the kindest soul, he would have done anything for anyone even if he didn’t know them. He was a husband, a dad, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, but above that he was a friend to all. It’s been almost 7 years and in that time, we have met our kidney recipient, and wish nothing but the best for our liver, eye, tissue, and bone families.
