Despite this and other hurdles, UNOS’ organ transplant matching technology demonstrated remarkable stability, achieving a 99.99% system uptime. This reliability is critical for supporting the 24/7 operations that hospitals, organ procurement organizations (OPOs) and transplant professionals rely on to save lives.

While some have questioned the technology’s age and stability, the system’s uptime proves it is strong and secure, matching patients with lifesaving organs 24/7, 365 days a year.
