Sue Dunn served as president and CEO of the organ procurement organization (OPO) Donor Alliance for nearly 20 years prior to her retirement, capping a more than 30-year career with the organization and nearly 40-year career in health care. She served in a number of key volunteer and advisory roles for the donation and transplant community during her career, and since retirement has served as an advisory member of the Lung Bioengineering/United Therapeutics council for advancement of transplant, as a committee member with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and on the UNOS Corporate Affairs Committee and Philanthropy Advisory Council.
Dunn earned a B.S. in nursing from Creighton University and an MBA from Regis University and holds board certifications from the American Board of Transplant Coordinators and the Colorado Board of Nursing.
