Paul Rocheleau

Paul F. Rocheleau brings decades of leadership experience across global corporations, life sciences ventures, higher education partnerships and nonprofit governance. He retired in 2023 following a distinguished career building and leading public, private and nonprofit organizations.

Rocheleau has advanced life sciences and workforce development initiatives in Virginia, co-founding Virginia Life Science Investments, LLC, to attract international startups and helping raise funds to support emerging companies. From 2017 to 2023, he served as executive director of strategic programs at the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Engineering, supporting industry partnerships and helping secure private funding.

He previously served as chief executive officer of Albright and Wilson and chief financial officer of Albemarle Corp., where he led growth strategies, acquisitions, and technology commercialization. Rocheleau has also served on the boards of public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Rocheleau earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
