Neelam Singh

As Director of Data, Neelam Singh provides technical and strategic leadership across UNOS’ full data value chain, spanning enterprise data strategy; data engineering and architecture; database administration and production data integrity; data governance and quality; data integration; and the delivery of powerful data and reporting tools to the transplant community, clients and UNOS’ internal functions.

Singh joined UNOS’ Research department in 2019 as Manager of Business Intelligence and Data Products. In 2022, she was named Director of Data Analytics, where she built the function from the ground up, transitioning a 25-member team from the Research division and aligning its goals, processes and budgets to strategic priorities. She also established the Analytics Change Board that drives change management for data analytics and data science deployments and led UNOS’ modernization from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-native solutions.

In August 2026, Singh’s role expanded to include data management and governance, reflecting UNOS’ growing focus on AI-driven offerings and interoperability. In this expanded role, she leads the organization’s efforts to ensure its data is AI-ready, interoperable and governed by robust frameworks that support responsible, scalable adoption.

Singh brings more than 25 years of experience building people, process and technical capabilities across data and analytics roles in healthcare, banking and general insurance. She is passionate about advancing diverse talent in tech and mentoring emerging leaders. Singh founded and leads UNOS’ Women in Tech (UWiT) initiative.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Goa University, India.
