Director, IT Support Services

Blaine Hess joined UNOS in 2003 as Director of Systems Engineering and Operations, and most recently was the acting Assistant Executive Director for Information Technology. He is responsible for all aspects of information technology, including systems infrastructure, network and database operations, software development, Web site operations and IT security.

His experience prior to joining UNOS includes positions with Andersen Consulting and Venturi Technical Partners, where he consulted on large-scale IT systems development and implementation, technical architecture, and change management.

Mr. Hess obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Decision Support Systems, from James Madison University in 1988.
