Walter Graham was named UNOS' Executive Director in 1995. He is responsible for overseeing all network operations, facilitating government relations and contract activity, membership standards adherence and policy-making, education programs, data analysis, and computer modeling activities.

Mr. Graham served as UNOS' Assistant Executive Director for eight years before taking on the role of Executive Director in 1995, and was a management consultant to UNOS for one year prior to joining the organization.

An attorney, Mr. Graham has more than 25 years of senior management experience in health care administration, and has served as a senior corporate executive at five different health care organizations.

Mr. Graham received a B.A. in Political Science from Arkansas State University and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas.
