Charles E. Alexander, RN, M.S.N., M.B.A., CPTC, is chief executive officer of the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland (formerly the Transplant Resource Center of Maryland) in Baltimore.
He is a member of the OPTN/UNOS board of directors and vice chair of the OPTN/UNOS organ procurement organization committee and co-chair of the DCD policy work group. He also has served on an advisory group to the OPTN/UNOS information technology department.
He is immediate past president of NATCO, the Organization for Transplant Professionals, and also has served the organization as secretary.
Alexander has a master of science degree in nursing and a master's degree in business administration, both from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He also holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Villa Julie College and a bachelor of science degree in economics and marketing from Towson University, both near Baltimore.
