When you make a contribution to UNOS, you help to finance programs and activities aimed at educating the public about the critical need for organ and tissue donation:
- Gifts for General Support are undesignated and will be used where they are needed the most.
- UNOS' Education, Research and Technology Fund is the one way you can touch everything we do and everyone we serve, from:
- increasing organ donation through education and outreach programs,
- improving transplant outcomes through clinical data research, technology development and professional best practices research and education, and
- helping candidates and recipients make informed health decisions through the Transplant Living Web site and print resources for patients and their families.
- The National Donor Memorial honors and celebrates America's organ and tissue donors and their families. Their precious gift of life is celebrated 365 days a year with a symbolic garden, an inspiring Web site, visitor education programs, tours and memorial celebrations.
- The Hume-Kauffman Library and Archives is a special library of informational resources about organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
